Texas A&M Family Weekend 2021 is quickly approaching. Each year a schedule of events is printed and distributed throughout the weekend. In addition, a more comprehensive online schedule is posted online. If you are hosting a Family Weekend event for Family Weekend 2021 (April 9-11), please fill out the below form by March 1st. Events will be added to the online schedule as they are received.
Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, Family Weekend will include both in-person and virtual events.
- Event coordinators can decide the appropriate format for their event. While not required, we do encourage in-person events to have a virtual component for families to participate remotely.
- All in-person events must be approved by the appropriate authorities for the respective event location. The necessary type of approval varies based on the event space and if you are a student organization or campus department. Examples of approvals include University Center and Special Events (UCEN), Vice President for Student Affairs, Maroon Link Forms, Building Proctors, and/or a Dean or Department Head. Again this varies on your event space and affiliation with Texas A&M; for more information consult the TAMU COVID Website and Student Activities Website.
- If you are hosting a virtual event you must manage your own registration and event links. We will post links to the schedule. A registration method, such as a brief webform, is encouraged to avoid posting open Zoom links to the public.
- All documentation of required approvals for in-person events and registration links for virtual events must be submitted by March 15.
